A conversation with my conservative stepfather:
Me: You may be disappointed, but I went to the Hillary concession.
Gene: No, no...I think it's great when people get as many points of view as possible. Speaking of...I sent you a couple of emails today...
Me: Yyyyeah...and I did read them!
Both: *peals of spasmatic, hopeless laughter*
